Graduate Credit Programs

We are pleased to offer graduate credit for a subset of our CSforMA professional learning courses. To enroll:

  1. Register for the CSforMA course using the registration links on our PD page.
  2. Follow the Cambridge College graduate credit registration link in the email sent to you by email.
  3. Pay the tuition when Cambridge College sends you an invoice by email. ($75/credit)
  4. Cambridge College will send CSforMA a class roster. We will submit grades within two weeks of the course end date.
  5. You may request a transcript at https://www.cambridgecollege.edu/alumni/requesting-transcripts

A Note about PreK-6 DLCS Licensure

Note that CSforMA PreK-6 DLCS courses offer the additional requirements needed to obtain a DLCS PK-6 license. Those seeking their initial MA teaching license must attend an accredited educator preparation program. Read more about teacher licensure on DESE’s website.

2026 Graduate Credit offerings from CSforMA through Cambridge College

We are pleased to offer the option to receive graduate credit for a subset of our professional learning courses. The following CSforMA workshops are eligible for credit.

SCI6035 Building Research Competency, Summer, 1 credit

  • 2-day workshop, 1 credit
  • Covers SMK #5
  • Must take CSforMA Building Research Competency online course

SCI6036 PK6 Computer Science Part ONE, Summer, 3 credits

Registration Closed. Next course will be offered July 2026.

  • 5-day summer workshop, 40 hours, 3 credits
  • Must take CSforMA PreK-6 Computer Science 5-day summer course

SCI6037 PK6 Computer Science Part TWO, Fall, 2 credits

  • Must first take CSforMA PreK-6 Computer Science 5-day summer course
  • Must take CSforMA PreK-6 Computer Science Part 2, 4 days of workshops, typically over two weekends in October & December

SCI6039 PreK-6 Digital Literacy, Summer, 3 credits

  • 5-day summer workshop, 40 hours, 3 credits
  • Covers DLCS SMK #1, 2, 3, 4
  • Must take CSforMA PreK-6 Digital Literacy 5-day summer course

SCI6038 Teaching Computer Science in Middle and High School, Summer, 3 credits

  • 5-day summer workshop, 3 credits
  • Must take one of the following through CSforMA:
    • Exploring Computer Science, 5-day summer course
    • Code.org CS Principles, 5-day summer course
    • Code.org AI Foundations, 5-day summer course
  • Post-workshop Assignment (Email to info@csforma.org)
    • Write a 500-1000 word essay addressing the following questions:
      • As you’ve been teaching computer science in your classroom, what strategies have you used to help students with content that they find difficult? How can that be applied more broadly in your teaching practices?

Registration and Tuition

To register for Graduate Credit:

  • FIrst, be sure you’ve taken the corresponding CSforMA course.
  • Complete the enrollment form online at Cambridge College (check your email for details)
  • Pay tuition directly to Cambridge College via their email link.
