Annual State of Computer Science Education
The 2023 State of Computer Science Education report from Code.org, CSTA & ECEP shows that while MA has made good progress in the percentage of our schools offering computer science, participation rates are even lower than they were before the pandemic. Large disparities still exist, and we must continue to focus on eliminating participation gaps. Working together we can prevent MA from falling further behind in comparison to other states. Career Data
In 2022, CSforMA and Emsi Burning Glass compiled a set of reports on career pathways in computer science for the state of Massachusetts. These reports are based on a thorough analysis of occupational profiles and the skills needed to satisfy the requirements of five roles that offer the greatest opportunities in computer science for individuals with less than a 4-year degree.
