In 2022, CSforMA worked with Emsi Burning Glass, a labor market analytics firm, to compile data and construct a skills analysis for career pathways in computer science occupations for the state of Massachusetts.
Each report outlines existing opportunities for individuals to enter the field of computer science. The reports are based on a thorough review of occupational profiles and an analysis of the skills needed to satisfy the requirements of each occupation.
This analysis identified five viable roles that offer the greatest opportunities in computer science for individuals with less than a 4-year degree.
